LoL MMR & Rank Simulator

LIVE

Community-formula MMR estimator with games-to-target-rank simulation at 50/55/60% win rates.

About this tool

LoL MMR & Rank Simulator (lolmmr) reverse-engineers Riot’s hidden MMR using a community formula. Enter current tier / division / LP plus average LP gain (e.g., 22) and loss (e.g., 18); the tool returns the games-to-target-rank under three win-rate scenarios (50% / 55% / 60%). For Iron–Diamond, divisions are +75 MMR each (base + 1st/2nd/3rd/4th). Master+ uses direct LP accumulation. Low LP gain signals MMR below the displayed tier — the tool flags this and notes corrections for patch resets and loss-streak bonuses. Shareable via URL; runs entirely in the browser.

Use cases

Scenario 1

Silver → Gold games estimate

From Silver 1 / 50 LP to Gold 4, see how many games are needed at 50% / 55% / 60% with avg gain 22 / loss 18 LP.

Scenario 2

Diagnose MMR via LP gain

When LP gain is only 7–8, the player learns their MMR is below the displayed tier and computes how many wins it takes to catch up.

Scenario 3

Season-end D-Day

With 4 weeks left in the season, a player matches weekly game capacity to the Gold target to set a realistic schedule.

Scenario 4

Share with friends

Two duo friends share result URLs to compare who reaches Diamond faster from the same starting point.

Frequently asked

Q. What exactly is MMR?
A. MMR is Riot’s hidden internal rating. Two players in the same division can earn different LP because of MMR differences. The tool estimates it from observed LP gains.
Q. Is gaining ~22 LP per win normal?
A. Around 20 LP per win indicates MMR matches the displayed tier’s median. 25+ means MMR is above the tier; ≤ 15 means it’s below.
Q. Are the estimates always accurate?
A. It’s a community-formula estimate; Riot’s algorithm is more complex. Accuracy drops right after pre-season resets, promotion-system changes, and during loss-streak bonuses.
Q. Is this an official Riot tool?
A. No. It’s an unofficial estimator unrelated to Riot Games and doesn’t use any official API or trademarks.
