When to visit
For girls, a growth-clinic or pediatric-endocrinology visit around ages 7–9 (Korean grades 1–2) is commonly suggested. Checking bone age then makes remaining growth potential easier to estimate.
Look for pediatrics with a pediatric-endocrinology subspecialty. A first visit usually means height and weight measurement, a physical exam, and a wrist X-ray for bone age.
