The Korea Restaurant Dietary Card Generator is a free tool for foreign travelers to safely communicate dietary restrictions — allergies, vegan/vegetarian diet, halal, kosher, and specific ingredient avoidance — at Korean restaurants. Select from 11 allergens, 6 diet types, 4 religious requirements, and 13+ common Korean ingredients to instantly generate a polite Korean + English card. No login required. All processing happens in your browser only.
Data sources
- Allergy items: 11 items selected from Korea's 22 official allergenic foods (식품안전나라), prioritized by relevance to Korean restaurant dining.
- Halal information: Based on public materials from the Korea Muslim Federation (KMF).
- Ingredient phrasing: Standard phrases written based on Korean food composition data and real-world restaurant experience.
- Verified date: 2026-06-13
Privacy
This tool does not transmit any data to a server. All selections are stored only in your browser (localStorage) and in the shareable link (?s= token). No account registration or tracking cookies are used. Only standard website analytics and advertising are collected for site operations.
