What is Prompt Vault?
Prompt Vault is a free, static web tool for saving and organizing the AI prompts you reuse. Add a prompt with a title, body, tags and an AI-platform label (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney or Other), pin your favorites, then find any prompt instantly with fuzzy search and copy it in one click. It works in both Korean and English and adapts from a single column on phones to three columns on the desktop.
It exists to solve a small but daily annoyance: great prompts get lost in chat history. Instead of rewriting them, you keep them once and reuse them forever.
Privacy model
There are no accounts, no servers and no databases. Every prompt is stored only in your browser’s localStorage. Your prompts never leave your device unless you deliberately export a JSON file or copy a share link (which encodes the prompt inside the URL, still without any server). We do not — and cannot — read your prompts. The site shows ads and uses standard, privacy-respecting analytics to keep the tool free, but your prompt content is never part of that.
Data ownership and backup
Because your data lives in your browser, you fully own it — and you are responsible for backing it up. Use Export to download your whole library as a JSON file, store it in your own cloud drive or repo, and Import to merge it back on any device. Import never overwrites blindly: it keeps the most recently edited version of each prompt and adds new ones, so re-importing is always safe.

Prompt Vault is built and operated by bal.pe.kr, a one-person micro-SaaS portfolio from Korea that makes small, practical, fully static web tools. The goal is utilities that are fast, free and respectful of your data.

Limitations & disclaimer
Prompt Vault stores and organizes prompts; it does not evaluate or guarantee their quality. Data is tied to one browser with no automatic cloud sync — back up with Export/Import. Storage follows your browser’s localStorage limit, and very long prompts may exceed URL length when shared as a link.
