Frequently Asked Questions

7 common questions about the menu price increase calculator

How do I choose the rounding unit?

It depends on your business type and price range. Cafés and bakeries typically use 100 KRW rounding, Korean restaurants use 500 KRW, and BBQ joints or delivery restaurants use 1,000 KRW for cleaner price display.

Should I use rate (%) or fixed amount?

Use rate (%) when ingredient costs or labor have risen proportionally across all items. Use fixed amount when you want to add an equal amount to every item regardless of its current price.

Does the print output include only the price list?

Yes. Clicking "Print Price List (PDF)" shows only the new price table and a customer notice. Headers, buttons, and banners are automatically hidden.

Is my data saved?

Yes, menu items are saved in your browser's local storage. Clearing browser data will erase them. No data is sent to any server.

Can I share the list with my staff?

Yes. Click "Copy Share Link" to get a URL that encodes your menu items. Anyone with the link sees the same items pre-filled.

What is the maximum number of items?

Up to 20 items per calculation. For larger menus, split by category and calculate separately.

Why is the actual increase rate different from what I set?

Rounding causes slight differences. For example, 4,500 KRW × 10% = 4,950 KRW, but rounded to 100 KRW becomes 5,000 KRW — a real increase of 11.1%. Items with larger rounding adjustments will show bigger differences.
