💡 What changed (new 2026-08-20)
Previously, parental-leave benefit required at least 30 days of leave, so 1–2 week short leaves received no benefit. The new short-term parental leave removes that rule, paying benefit even for 7- or 14-day use — useful for short care gaps like school breaks or a child's illness.
