Placement Checklist
- Place it somewhere quiet and secluded — avoid spots next to washing machines or boilers that make sudden noises.
- Keep it at least 1m from food and water bowls — cats do not eliminate near where they eat.
- Inner length should be at least 1.5× the cat's body length so it can turn around fully.
- Fill litter 5–7cm deep — too shallow and they cannot bury, too deep and they sink.
- Do not cluster all boxes in one spot — several boxes side by side count as one to a cat.
- Choose a location with two or more escape routes — blocked paths cause avoidance in multi-cat homes.
- When switching litter, mix 20–30% of the new type at a time over about two weeks.
