Find your Korean Traveler Persona with 12 wacky situations from a Korea trip β€” in 14 languages.

About this tool

Korea Travel MBTI Quiz (kmbti) maps your Korea-trip personality across 4 axes (planned vs spontaneous, solo vs group, hotspot vs local, food vs nature) using 12 real Korea-specific situations β€” jjimjilbang choice, Hongdae night streets, pocha soju, CU triangle gimbap, and more. The result is one of 16 Korean Traveler Personas (Seoul Night Owl, Jeju Slow Soul, Busan Beach Drifter, etc.) with description, recommended neighborhoods, foods, activities, and a 1200Γ—630 shareable PNG card. Available in 14 languages: en, ko, ja, zh-CN, zh-TW, es, fr, de, it, pt, ru, vi, th, id. Fully client-side; responses never leave your browser.

Use cases

First-time visitors to Korea

On the flight in, first-timers learn their travel style and pick recommended neighborhoods (Itaewon / Hongdae / Seongsu) for day one.

Scenario 2

Couple-trip planning

A couple takes the quiz separately and gets a compromise itinerary (daytime hotspots + evening local eateries) when their personas differ.

Scenario 3

Social-share content

An influencer shares the persona PNG card on Instagram / X to boost Korea-travel content reach.

Post-trip retrospective

After a trip, users reflect on which persona best fit their actual experience and use that for the next trip.

Frequently asked

Q. Is this the same as real MBTI?
A. The 4-axis Γ— 16-type structure is similar, but the axes are redesigned for Korea travel: planned vs spontaneous, solo vs group, hotspot vs local, food vs nature. It’s travel-personality entertainment, not a psychological tool.
Q. It’s my first time in Korea β€” questions feel too local.
A. Each question has a short caption / image, and "I haven’t tried either" neutralizes anything unfamiliar. First-timers finish in ~2 min.
Q. How are personas assigned?
A. The 4-axis scores combine into one of 16 personas. Persona descriptions were validated against real Korea-trip reviews on Reddit r/korea, Naver blog, and Tripadvisor.
Q. If I share the result, do friends see the same one?
A. The shared PNG holds only your result and responses aren’t stored on a server. Friends get their own persona by taking the quiz themselves.
