KakaoTalk & Naver OG Preview

LIVE

Preview Open Graph tags across KakaoTalk, Naver, Facebook, X/Twitter in one view.

About this tool

OG Card Preview takes a URL and simulates how it appears as a preview card on six platforms — KakaoTalk, Naver, Facebook, X (Twitter), Discord, LinkedIn. It validates og:image, twitter:card, and Naver thumbnail simultaneously and measures the og:image’s response time, file size, content-type, and HTTPS — the most common reasons cards break. Standard-recommendation warnings (1200×630, ≤60-char title, ≤200-char description) appear in pixel and character units. All checks run in the browser (or via a discard-on-fetch server proxy) — no URLs or images are stored.

Use cases

Scenario 1

KakaoTalk preview-broken diagnosis

Automatically check og:image HTTPS, ≤1MB, and response time to surface the three most common reasons KakaoTalk previews fail.

Scenario 2

Naver universal-search thumbnail

Verify the four ingredients Naver needs (og:image, Search Advisor, sitemap inclusion, body image) and judge thumbnail eligibility.

Scenario 3

X / Twitter Card validator

Detect the og:* fallback when twitter:card is missing and check for the recommended summary_large_image to plug traffic leaks.

Scenario 4

Discord/Slack bot rejections

Surface violations of the four security conditions Discord/Slack require: HTTPS, public access, image/* MIME, HTTP 200.

Scenario 5

Pre-publish multi-platform check

Preview a new post’s OG card across all six platforms before publishing to head off truncation or breakage.

Frequently asked

Q. Why does KakaoTalk fail to preview?
A. Almost always one of: (1) non-HTTPS, (2) CDN first-fetch timeout, (3) image > 1MB. The tool checks all three.
Q. What is the recommended og:image size?
A. 1200×630 (1.91:1) PNG/JPG under 1MB is safe everywhere. Square crops get cut on Kakao/X.
Q. How does the Naver thumbnail show up?
A. You need all four — og:image + Search Advisor registration + sitemap.xml inclusion + same image visible in the body.
Q. Tool vs Facebook Debugger?
A. The Debugger shows only Facebook’s view; this tool compares all six platforms at once. Use the Debugger for forced cache refreshes.
Q. Is my site data stored?
A. No — fetched in-browser or via discard-on-use proxy. URLs and images are not stored.
